The Factory the World Built to Stay Cold

For a century, liquid nitrogen has been manufactured in large centralized air separation units — massive industrial facilities producing cold at scale and shipping it to customers through a distribution chain that adds cost, adds risk, and adds dependency at every link.

The cold is real. It works. But every facility that uses liquid nitrogen is downstream of a plant it does not own, on a schedule it did not set, at a price it did not negotiate from a position of strength. Every tanker on every route carries a thermal signature — fuel burn, emissions load, propulsion energy, refrigeration overhead, repeated route dependency.

LN2 was chained to the tower. The tanker carried the chain. Every mile of delivery was a mile of embedded thermal and energy burden paid by the facility at the end of the route.

The trucks are not carrying the problem. The need for the trucks is the problem.

We Harvest It Out of Thin Air

CryoFlux does not require a factory to produce LN2. The raw material for the cold has always been present at the point of need — in the air where the engines are at work, in the atmosphere surrounding every facility that has ever paid for a cryogenic delivery. Seventy-eight percent of that air is nitrogen. It was always there.

The CryoFlux atmospheric microharvester mounts at the facility. It draws nitrogen from the surrounding air, liquefies it through a closed regenerative loop, and trickle-feeds a governed reservoir the facility owns. That reservoir serves every portable vessel in the building — the laboratory dewar, the clinical unit, the manufacturing process, the MRI suite — filled on demand, on the facility's schedule, from cold the facility produces itself.

CryoFlux keeps the cold but removes the miles. The tanker becomes a service vehicle. The delivery route becomes a support territory. The supply becomes local. They go from just breathing the cold to owning it.

The air that was always there now feeds a reservoir the facility owns.
